Charles I (1625-1649), Late Declaration issues, Bridgnorth-on-Severn (?), Shilling, 1646, mm. plumelet over Br on obv. only, large bust in lace collar, Declaration reads pro, 6.33g/8h (Morr. A-3 var.; SCBI Brooker 1128 and Brettell 393, same dies; N 2521; S 3040). Edge crack and some double-striking, otherwise very fine and toned, rare £900-£1,200
