Henry VIII (1509-1547), Second coinage, Groat, Tower, mm. lis, similar, reads d g r and franc, late lettering, saltires in cross-ends, 2.78g/10h (Whitton (v a); Laker D; N 1797; S 2337E). Some double-striking on reverse and remains of some surface deposit, otherwise extremely fine with some bloom and an exceptional portrait £400-£500
