Frank Davies was born in Bethnal Green, London, and attested for the Royal Fusiliers. He served with the 8th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and died of wounds on 31 December 1916. He is buried at Bethune Town Cemetery, France.

Thomas Straker was born in Durham, and attested for the Durham Light Infantry. He served with the 1st/7th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 24 May 1915. He is buried at Aeroplane Cemetery, France.
