Summary of the correspondence between the Duke of Wellington and Ms. de Palmella and Barbauna during the Portuguese Civil War, 1828-9, refering to the exiled Queen Maria II and the convoying of Portuguese soldiery from Plymouth, believed to be in J.C. Herries’ hand. Two sheets, 20 x 31.5cm (double) and one sheet, 13 x 19.8cm [3]. Folded, fairly clean, one sheet with later notes in pencil (£200-250)
