Memorandum of the “Form of the Trial of the Pix.” An undated detailed account in a secretarial hand of the personages involved and the procedures to be followed in this ancient ceremony. On black edged paper, watermarked ‘1829.’ Reverse annotated in pencil by J.C. Herries “Mint/Pix.” 19.7 x 31.6cm (double). Three small holes at folds and a few foxmarks, otherwise clean and a most interesting document (£400-500)

The black border suggests this document was drawn up shortly after the death of George IV on 26 June 1830
