James I (1406-1437), Groat, First Fleur-de-lis issue, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, i on sceptre handle and to right of bust, saltire to right of crown, rev. i in centre, pellet in first and fourth quarters, pellet and lis in second, saltire, lis and pellet in third, 2.19g/7h (B 18, fig. 450; S 5195). Many faint hairline scratches both sides, otherwise very fine (£200-250)
