Charles I (1625-1649), Triple Unite, 1643, mm. plume (with bands) on obv. only, crowned bust left, wearing collar, armour and Lesser George and holding an olive branch and sword, plume in field behind, rev. Declaration in scroll, 26.79g/1h (B-J VI S8; SCBI Schneider 295 and Brooker 838, same dies; N 2384; S 2727). Head smoothed, otherwise very fine and very rare (£5,000-7,000)
