Five: Private T. Graham, Northumberland Fusiliers

British War and Victory Medals (34954 Pte. T. Graham. North’d Fus.); Defence Medal; Civil Defence Long Service Medal, E.II.R., unnamed as issued; St. John Service Medal, silvered, straight bar suspension, with two Additional Award Bars (10442/H Pte. T. Graham Yorks S.J.A.B.); together with a City of Sheffield Education Committee Medal, bronze, the reverse engraved ‘T. W. Graham for 4 years punctual attendance and good conduct’, very fine or better (6) £60-£80

Thomas Graham was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire and attested there for the Northumberland Fusiliers on 9 December 1915, serving with the British Expeditionary Force in France. He was admitted to 9th General Hospital, Rouen on 14 July 1917 and returned to England where he was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital, Lancashire on 26 July. He subsequently transferred to the Labour Corps.
