Captain Alexander Hassard, 4th son of Jason Hassard, of Gardenhill and Toam, joined the 6th Innkskilling Dragoons 23rd April, 1812. Wounded at Waterloo. Promoted Captain 17th June, 1819. Retired before 1830. Married his cousin, Elizabeth. Died September 1845.
