James Orsbourne served in Lieutenant-Colonel Ross’s “A” Troop R.H.A. in the Waterloo campaign - listed as a ‘Driver’ in the published roll.

Driver Joseph (James) Osbourne, Royal Artillery Drivers, is also listed in the ‘Mullen’ and the ‘Vigors & Macfarlane’ rolls as being awarded a Military General Service Medal with 9 clasps, for Busaco, Fuentes d’Onor, Ciudad Rodrigo, Badajoz, Salamanca, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Nive, and Orthes (Sold at Glendining’s in February 1953 and Christie’s in April 1984).
