Edmund White was born in Highgate, Middlesex, and enlisted into the 55th Foot on 1 March 1826, a tailor by trade. He died at sea on 22 April 1844, his next of kin being given as his daughter, Mary White, residing in Glasgow. Sold with copied muster details.
