Edgar Louis Stevens attested for the Royal North Devonshire Yeomanry on 2 February 1912, and served with them during the Great War in the Balkan theatre of War from 9 October 1915. He died at home of tuberculous on 5 September 1917.

Suther Corbett was born in Walton, Liverpool, and attested for the Royal Lancaster Regiment at Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire. He served with the 7th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and died of wounds on 3 October 1915. He is buried in Boulogne Eastern Cemetery, France.

Sold with a small silver maple leaf pin badge, the reverse engraved ‘255 Batt.’; a Canadian Maple Leaf ‘V’ badge; and two Canada shoulder titles.
