‘For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. He was in charge of the brigade trench mortars during the attack. He handled his guns with great coolness and determination, setting a fine example under heavy fire.’

Sold with large brass 15th Canadian Battn./48th Highlanders glengarry badge (small 48), brass wound bade, C.E.F. War Service badge with associated named certificate, and ribbon bars.
