London Gazette 2 March 1920:
‘In recognition of meritorious services in connection with the production of Munitions and Materials of War in India.’

Horace Mays Fox was born in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, on 26 January 1888 and attested for the Norfolk Regiment in 1906. Transferring to the Indian Army Ordnance Corps, he served with them during the Great War in India, and was ultimately advanced to the rank of Major. He died in Norfolk on 28 November 1946.
