19th Century French Brassards or Breast Badges, an oval die-stamped silvered copper badge with a central display of family arms, inscribed around the rim, ‘Garde des Bois et Proprietes de Mr. Le Cte D’Hunolstein’; an octagonal die-stamped copper gilt plate with central display of family arms, inscribed around the edge, ‘Garde de Mr. Le Marquis de Belbeuf Pair de France’; a n oval die-stamped silvered copper oval plate with central display of the Imperial arms, inscribed around the top rim, ‘Gendarmerie Imperiale de Paris; a large octagonal die-stamped copper plate with central display of a three masted sailing ship and demi laurel sprays, inscribed around the edge, ‘Garde Municipale de Paris, 29 Juillet 1830’ , six loop fasteners to reverse, fasteners missing from first two items, none ever applied to third item, very good overall condition (4) £150-200
