French, 30th Line Regiment (2nd Bourbon Restoration Period) an extremely fine and scarce officer’s die stamped gilt brass shako plate c1816-1830, crowned laurels enclose a shield bearing the three fleur-de-lys, below a curved panel displays the ‘French circle and dot’ with pierced numerals within, sprays of lilies to the left and right, two pairs of holes for attachment (approx 14cm x 10.7cm)excellent condition (1) £150-250
