Military General Service 1793-1814, 6 engraved clasps, Vittoria, Pyrenees, Nivelle, Nive, Orthes, Toulouse, edge inscribed, ‘Geo. L’Estrange, Lieut., 31st Foot’, some contact marks, very fine £500-600

George l'Estrange was commissioned a Lieutenant in 31st Foot in 1813 and served with them in the Peninsula and was subsequently awarded a M.G.S. with six clasps as above. He transferred to the 3rd Foot Guards in 1815 as an Ensign & Lieutenant and was placed on Half Pay in 1822.
