George Skinner was born in the Parish of Kimbolton, Huntingdon in November 1837. He enlisted into the 68th Foot at Hichen, Hertfordshire on 5 May 1858. He was discharged on 13 May 1879 at Netley and was in possession of 4 good conduct badges and the New Zealand Medal. Sold with copied service papers.
