Joshua Reader enlisted into the 23rd Light Dragoons at Cork on 23 March 1807. He was present with the regiment at the battle of Talavera in 1809, and fought in Captain Cox’s Troop at Waterloo. He was discharged at Radipole on 2 April 1817, but was not recommended for pension. He is also entitled to the M.G.S. medal for Talavera. Sold with full muster details.
