Distinguished Conduct Medal, G.V.R. (50325 Sjt., No. 2. Sec., 6/Div. A.C., R.F.A.); 1914 Star, with clasp (50325 Bmbr., R.F.A.); British War Medal 1914-20 (50325 B.Q.M. Sjt., R.A.); France, Medaille Militaire, first with repair to suspension, polished, therefore good fine and better (4) £250-300

D.C.M. London Gazette 11 March 1916 ‘For exceptionally good and hard work in the Orderly Room of the Divisional Ammunition Column. It was in a great measure due to his ability and energy that the supply was so regular and demands so promptly dealt.’
