Roy Kemp was born in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex and enlisted at Warley. Serving with the 2nd Battalion Bedfordshire Regiment, he died of wounds, France / Flanders, 10 April 1918. He was buried in the Premont British Cemetery, Aisne, France.
