3897 W. Totman was born in Plumstead, Kent and enlisted at Woolwich. Serving with the 12th Lancers, he died of wounds, France / Flanders, 25 August 1914. He was buried in the Bavay Communal Cemetery, Nord, France. He was the son of 81093 Sergeant W. Totman, R.F.A. Sold with copied service papers and other research.
