Frederic William Agustine Wright was born in Morpeth, Northumberland and attested for the Imperial Yeomanry at Norwich, Norfolk on 9 January 1900. He served with the 44th (Suffolk) Company, 12th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry in South Africa between 5 March and 8 November 1900. In the Great War he was appointed a Subaltern with the 4th (Uganda) Battalion King’s African Rifles on 28 January 1915. He relinquished his commission due to ill health on 10 March 1916. Sold with 27 sheets of copied service and related papers.
