20th (Fife & Forfar Light Horse) Company Imperial Yeomanry.

Hugh Percy Gordon was born in Brechin in Forfar. He enrolled into the Frontier Light Horse on 4 February and was discharged on 8 August 1879. In later life, as an accountant, he enlisted into the Imperial Yeomany on 11 January 1900, aged 35 years. Serving with the 20th (Fife & Forfar Light Horse) Company, 6th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry in South Africa between 1 March 1900 and 24 June 1901. Sold with copied service papers and other copied research.
