143rd Company Imperial Yeomanry.

William Welch was born in Leyton, Essex. An electrician by trade, he attested for the Imperial Yeomanry on 7 January 1902. He served with the 143rd Company, 32nd Battalion Imperial Yeomanry in South Africa between 8 May 1902 and 7 January 1903. Sold with copied service papers.
