62nd (Middlesex) Company Imperial Yeomanry.

Roland Francis C. Thompson was born in Belfast. By trade a horse salesman, he attested for the Imperial Yeomanry on 4 January 1900. He served with the 62nd (Middlesex) Company, 11th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry in South Africa between 14 April 1900 and 3 January 1901, being present at Honingspruit, Linsley, Bethlehem and Slabbards Nek. Sold with copied service papers.
