Henry Richards was born in Islington, London and enlisted into the Border Regiment in 1888. He served with the 2nd Battalion Border Regiment in Waziristan 1894-95 and in the Boer War. In addition to his I.G.S. medal he was entitled to a Q.S.A. with clasps for Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal and South Africa 1901. Sold with copied service papers.
