Reginald Aubrey Stephenson was born in Wandsworth Common on 16 September 1896, and was educated at Berkhamstead School. He enlisted into the Inns of Court O.T.C. on 28 December 1914 and was discharged to receive a commission in the Essex Regiment on 9 October 1915. He was wounded at Messines on 10 April 1918. Sold with 17 sheets of copied service papers.
