England, Dominion of the Sea, 1639, a cast silver-gilt medal by N. Briot, bust right, armoured, wearing a large plain collar, rev. ship in full sail, 60mm, 40.43g (MI I, 285/97; MH 29; E 136). Last two digits of date on truncation indistinct and a small text cut on rim 7 o’clock, otherwise very fine or better £1,500-£2,000
