Early Anglo-Saxon Period, Sceatta, Continental series E, porcupine-like figure enclosing a large v and three tiny pellets, bar below, rev. debased standard containing four parallel lines, 1.17g/11h (Abramson 89-10; N 45; S 790); together with a similar coin, different varieties [2].
