Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Groat, 1645, no mm., Rawlins’ large bust to edge, lion’s head on shoulder, no plume in field, Shrewsbury plume, scroll and ox monogram above Declaration, date below, inverted as for vs, 1.69g/6h (Morr. B-1; SCBI Brooker 958, same dies; N 2466; S 2988). Hairline scratches on obverse, otherwise very fine, toned £300-£400
