Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Shilling, 1642, mm. Oxford plume on obv. only, reads hi, three Oxford plumes above Declaration, date below, reads leg ang, 5.32g/12h (Morr. B-3; cf. SCBI Brooker 924-5; N 2439; S 2971). About very fine and toned, but slightly clipped and double-struck £300-£400
