Charles I (1625-1649), York mint, Halfcrown, Gp 2 [type 7], mm. lion, horse with tail between legs, ebor below, crowned oval shield, 14.59g/12h (Bull 562; Besly 2G; SCBI Brooker 1086; N 2315; S 2869). Small flan defect at 3 o’clock, otherwise very fine or a little better, toned £500-£700
