Frederick Adolphus Gerald Stodart was born in 1888 and enlisted on 7 June 1915. He served in France from 26 January 1916 until receiving a shrapnel wound in his right thumb on 17 September 1916 at High Wood. Sold with copied service papers and copies from the regimental history regarding the action at High Wood.
