A very rare Great War ‘Western Front’ M.M. and two bars pair awarded to Corporal F. L. Heydon, Royal Fusiliers

Military Medal, G.V.R., with two bars (6707 Pte., 9/R. Fus.) edge of medal additionally neatly inscribed ‘Hohenzollern Redoubt, 2nd March 1916’, and the reverse of the bars inscribed in a similar style ‘Houthoulst Forest, 14th Nov. 1917’ and ‘St Quentin (Front), March 21st to 27th 1918’ respectively; British War Medal 1914-20 (GS-6707 Cpl., R. Fus.) some edge bruising and contact wear, therefore nearly very fine (2) £1200-1500
