Sold with original card forwarding box, condolence slip and photograph of the recipient.

It is believed John Jim Collin was born in Sheffield in 1918. Whilst serving with the 24th Bomb Disposal Company, Royal Engineers, Collin was killed in action on 25.2.1945, aged 26 years. He was buried at Jonkerbos War Cemetery, Nijmeghen. His medals were sent to his wife, Mrs L. E. J. Collin of Lee, London S.E.12.
