776365 Sergeant Air Gunner Rhodes William Horobin, 237 Squadron, was killed in action, 18.3.1941, aged 19 years. He was buried in the Keren War Cemetery, Eritrea. He was the son of William and Doris Horobin of Umtali, Southern Rhodesia. Sold with an Air Gunner’s cloth badge and medal forwarding slip (Sgt. R. W. Horobin) and registered envelope addressed to the recipient’s mother.
