Arthur Fearnley was born in and enlisted at Pudsey, Yorkshire. Serving initially with the K.O.Y.L.I.s, he entered the Balkan theatre of war on 9.7.1915. Later, with the 7th Battalion Royal Munster Fusiliers he was killed in action, Greek Macedonia, 4.10.1916, aged 22 years. He was buried at Struma Military Cemetery, Greece.Sold with copied research papers including extracts from Mediterranean Expeditionary Force War Diary.
