1914 Star (1347 Pte., 1/28 Lond. R.) ; British War and Victory Medals (Capt.) ; India General Service 1908-35, 1 clasp, Afghanistan N.W.F. 1919 (Capt., 98-Infy.), slight contact marks, very fine (4) £150-200

At the onset of the Great War Arthur Gwyther Adams served in the Artist’s Rifles. He received his first commission on 14.11.1915 and served with the Devonshire Regiment. He was appointed to the Indian Army on 1.7.1918.
