India General Service 1854-95, 2 clasps, Hazara 1888, Samana 1891 (Lt., S.C.); Tibet 1903-04, no clasp (Major, S. & T. Corps) nearly extremely fine (2) £550-650

C. J. Corfield served in the Afghan War of 1878-80, with the Khyber Line Force for which he was awarded a medal. In the Hazara 1888 Expedition he was mentioned in despatches and awarded a medal with clasp. He was awarded a further clasp to his I.G.S. medal for service in the Miranzai Expedition 1891 and was awarded a medal for the Tibet Expedition 1903-4. He is shown as a Lieutenant-Colonel, retired, Indian Army in the 1915 War Services List.
