Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (William Frederick Lawes) good very fine £35-45

William Frederick Lawes was born in Godalming, Surrey and enlisted at Guildford. Serving with the 55th Field Ambulance Royal Army Medical Corps, he was gassed and died of the effects, France / Flanders, 10.11.1917, aged 28 years. He had been previously awarded the Military Medal (London Gazette 21 December 1916).
