Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (2), (Wilfred Edwin Pay; George Edward Pay) good very fine (2) £60-70

30233 Corporal Wilfred Edwin Pay was born in Bosham, Sussex and enlisted at Chichester, Sussex. Serving with the Machine Gun Corps he was killed in action, France / Flanders, 28.6.1918, aged 23 years. He had previously served in the Sussex Regiment. He was buried in Harponville Cemetery, Somme, France.

Po1181(S) Private George Edward Pay, Royal Marine Light Infantry, died 21,2,1919, aged 21 years and was buried in Chichester Cemetery. W.E. and G.E. Pay were brothers, sons of Mrs E.L. Pay of 2 Warren Villas, Summersdale, Chichester.
