South Africa 1877-79, 1 clasp, 1877-8 (Pte., Sansom’s Horse); Cape of Good Hope General Service 1880-97, 1 clasp, Transkei (Gunr., King W’Town Vol. Arty.), and privately engraved on the edge ‘1880-81’; Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 1 clasp, Cape Colony (563 Pte., Frontier Lt. Horse); Colonial Forces Auxiliary Long Service, G.V.R., 1st issue (L. Ser., Kaff. Rfls.); Coronation 1911, privately engraved ‘3108 Sgt. S. J. Young, Kaff. Rifles’, the first with single initial ‘S.’ and officially renamed, contact marks and minor edge bruising, generally good very fine or better (5) £400-500
