Sold with verification for the ‘1892’ and ‘1893-94’ clasps only.

Three separate expeditions contributed to the authorisation of the ‘1892’ clasp, one of them being against the Toniatabas in Sierra Leone, where a soldier of the 1st Battalion, West India Regiment, Lance-Corporal W. J. Gordon, won a Victoria Cross.
