Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Shilling, Gp F, mm. anchor, flukes to right, bust 5, large mark of value, pellet stops both sides, 6.08g/6h (Sharp F5/1; SCBI Brooker 529; N 2230; S 2797). Probably a piece of fine work, slightly weak on face, otherwise good very fine, toned £300-£400
