Eliot Walter Grace, formerly a Police Constable with ‘B’ Division, Metropolitan Police, attested for the Royal Fusiliers and served with the 9th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front. He died of wounds on 7 May 1917, aged 24, and is buried in Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun, France.
