Frederick McGee, the son of Henry and Mary McGee, of 2 Nithsdale Road, Sefton Park, Liverpool, attested for the Manchester Regiment and served with the 1st/8th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front. He died of wounds on 30 March 1918, and is buried in Gezaincourt Communal Cemetery Extension, France.
