Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, no clasp (J. Wilson, Car. Mte. H.M.S. Naiad.); Africa General Service 1902-56, 1 clasp, Somaliland 1902-04 (J. Wilson, Car. Mte. H.M.S. Naiad.); Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., V.R., narrow suspension (John Wilson. Carp. Mate. H.M.S. St. Vincent.) light contact marks, therefore nearly very fine or better (3) £300-£400

John Wilson was born in Liverpool in April 1859. He joined the Royal Navy as a Shipwright in September 1885, and advanced to Carpenter’s Mate in July 1889. Wilson served with H.M.S. Naiad, March 1901 - August 1904 (awarded L.S. & G.C. in November 1900). He was ‘Shore Pensioned’ in September 1907.
