Joseph Feirn/Fiern served in the Kaffir Wars of 1846-47 and 1850-53, and in the Indian Mutiny (Medal without clasp). He was sent home from India in April 1860 to be discharged. Sold with a 6th Foot pewter tunic button salvaged from the wreck of the Birkenhead and some muster research.
