South Africa, Cape Uniform, proofs for Five Pounds, an uncut sheet of three in black and white on paper printed by Perkins, Bacon & Co, undated but with ‘Decr. 12th 1891’ in pencil on middle note, all with three small punch-holes bottom right (Pick –) [3]. Some surface damage on one plus remnants of paper mounts on front corners of last note, otherwise extremely fine (£350-400)
